We were asked to organise a farewell drinks party for a senior figure at Transworld Publishing by Heather. He had been with them for 30 years and they wanted to provide him with a fitting send off.
A venue had been found in Notting hill which could accommodate the predicted 200 guests. It was then up to us to provide the necessary lighting, flowers, music, food and drinks to make the venue and evening a memorable one for all.
I was slightly restricted in the kitchen with what cooking equipment I could use due to the age of the property but still managed to provide a diverse selection of canapes which would cater for all tastes. Our thorough planning and preparation paid off as the evening passed by with hardly any problems. Our team of waiters and waitresses deserve special mention for their enthusiasm and friendliness.
EVERYONE was THRILLED with how seamless last night felt. The guests had a brilliant time, as did I! I have heard nothing but rave reviews from everyone, from the food to the service, to the atmosphere to quality of the champagne. The big regret is that we have already committed to another company, one which I loathe, for our Christmas party. I am quite certain in future that we’ll be turning to your dynamic duo again. Honestly, it was a terrific party beginning to end and I must give full credit where it’s due! – the lighting, music and flowers were all perfect touches! Heather Barrett
